I was just asked by someone whose daughter arrived to start studying here where to apply for the SIN. I answered city hall, since that’s where I obtained mine when I originally arrived on a work permit. I realize this is 15 years ago and things may have changed. When checking on the Service Canada site, it mentioned a few Service Canada offices in Toronto like I.e. 559 College Street. Does City Hall no longer work for the SIN card? I don’t want to direct them to the wrong place..
