What is your citizenship? Assume that you are serving for your home country. How many years have you spent in the military?

I am Pakistani citizen with 7 years of military service.
You don’t have to quit but chances of a longer processing time are high. Have you looked into recertification as a physician in Canada. Unless you want to be a GP it will be incredibly difficult. Even as a GP it may be challenging to get a residency spot and you will likely have to move to a smaller community. Assume you aren’t fluent in French.

You should realize that is incredibly difficult to recertify as an MD in Canada and in certain specialities essentially impossible. Folllow the directions on the applciation.
