my partner and I are very close to having to fill out the application form for our work permits.
She is going to apply for a closed work permit with LMIA and I am going to apply for an open work permit as her common law.
There is one thing we are not clear on how to answer, and that depends on how you answer they ask for documentation or not.
The question is the following, and it refers to me (common law of the person applying for the closed work permit):
Are you accompanying a family member who has status in Canada? (required).
I don't know if both of you being in Canada has an influence, if you have to say no or yes.
