PR application - thyroid problems

Hello all, I would like to ask question about medical inadmissibility.

I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer (carcinoma papillary) in Dec 2022. It was early stage and after surgery, everything is fine, just keep monitoring every 8 months. No medication is required because I was hemithyroidectomy and thyroid function is fine.
I am going to apply for PR in early 2025. Would the application be declined if I had this serious disease (cancer) before? Do I have to prepare any report from doctor before I submit the application? All help will be highly appreciated. Thanks so much.

No it shouldn’t be denied based on what you described. Yes I would get a letter describing your medical history, prognosis and ongoing treatment needs. If you submit it initially that may prevent the need for further information and delays.

Thank you for your reply Canuck.
Do I have to take any upfront medical exam before I submit the application?
Because I don't know where to upload such letter on the online application.
