Dear all,
I am an international student in Canada and my study permit expires on 30.09.2024. I have applied for study permit extension and received the extension letter on 13.08.2024. My next course is starting on 29 august 2024. I have received a full time job offer letter from my current employer and cancelled the seat in my second year program. I have raised a webform online and informed and asked IRCC to cancel the study permit issued to me as I am applying for PGWP. After I filed my PGWP application, I have received an email from IRCC saying that as the decision is already made on your study permit extension, so it can not be withdrawn now. Also, I have received my PGWP letter saying that you I can work full time until Feb 14, 2025 or any decision made on my application. Please help me what to do now?
Thank you

You should be able to start working on maintained status. You can use your study permit to renew SIN, etc. Only thing to ensure is you applied for PGWP within the 180 day period.
