Visitor visa to me and my mum through GC key

Good evening..I

I want to apply for an online visitor visa for me and my mother from Egypt through the GC key account noting that we will travel together to Canada in the same trip and same time .
I want to ask if my mother is considered a family member and we can both apply for 2 visitor visa applications through one GC key account or each one of us should have her own separate GC key account and apply individually.

If you are under 22, then you are a dependant on your mother. If not, apply separately.

Thanks so much for your reply yes I am 36 years and we have shared means of funds is it better to separate them or just add the same documents twice in each account …should I add a cover letter stating that we are related and planing the trip together ? Is there away to link the 2 GC key accounts together or each account will be reviewed separately ..sorry for the many questions but this will the fist time we apply online as we previously submitted our visa by hands and they usually combined our applications as we always have the same means of funds
