Hello Guys,

We received pre-arrival letter last week and after 5 days we received the passport request. The thing is my wife is now in Canada and the passport is requested to Beirut VO. Our consultant sent a webform so we can submit her passport in Canada. Anyone had this experience before?

This is her timeline:
- September 2023: Submitted Application
- November 1 2023: Application rejected for missing document
- November 7 2023: Submitted Application again
- November 29 2023: AOR 1
- January 4 2024: Biometrics Completed
- February 8 2024: AOR 2
- April 9 2024: Medicals done
- Apr 24 2024: Medicals Completed
- June 7 2024: Eligibility and Background Check Completed
- June 8 2024: Invitation to pre-arrival services
- June 13 2024: Passport Request

Hi,
Today i got message in GCkey with name as INFORMATION LETTER, but when I download document and found that that document is fake. Reason in document mention "IUC" instead of "UCI".Uci number is incorrect. Also mention "Application:" instead of "application no :". application number also wrong. I applied from INDIA and document shows different country.

What to do with this? anyone has faced similar?

Written in French, this is not a fake document; I think someone accidentally uploaded it to your account meant for someone else. Inform IRCC via web form.

Also wrong document i got is for passport request but I still not get COPR So I am so much confused about all this. In my tacker nothing is updated. I also got medical surveillance which was expected as I have been diagnosed with TB. GC key latest update say "Final decision: [date]... we will let you know" but in tracker back ground check and eligibility is still not started not even in progress.

Hey , have you heard back since sending the webform?

I am in a similar boat and just trying to understand the next steps. We received pre-arrival letter and now waiting on passport request but my wife is in Canada as well. I had previously updated my contact information and sent a webform informing them that my wife is in Canada but my guess I will have to do it again once I received the PPR.

Do you know what your consultant included in the webform? Did he chose the update contact info option or "Other"?

Thank you JSOL1 for sharing your timeline and info. This quashes any myth out there, that sending multiple webforms or ordering GCMS notes delays the processing timeline.

Hi Guys. Anyone here in the same situation as me?

We submitted my wife's application on September 13, 2023, received AOR two months later, and then sent the medical exam on December 4, 2023. Then it's been dead silence then.

The Status Tracker website shows that the background check is still in progress, eligibility has not started yet, and the latest update was on December 18, 2023.

It seems most people here who applied in September have already received their PR. Also the processing time on the IRCC is 10 months now and we've already surpassed that. What can we do in this case?

Thank you very much for any insights.

Tracker is not working anymore, and has not been updating since May 2024.
You could order GCMS notes to see where exactly your application is and how far it progressed. You can also ask your local MP for a status update, informing them its been over 10 months. I'm an August applicant and am still waiting, so don't worry something will happen soon for us.

The trackers has also not updated for me since May, last update was the medical exam. Watch your GCKey and emails.

I personally was a big fan of the GCMS notes although they will take another month to be sent out. By the time you get them they might be outdated because suddenly things could move fast for you, being right at the end.
