Hi , my spouse has ECR ( Emigration check required) mentioned on his passport as he didn’t cleared his 10th. Will that be a problem for getting his sowp in Canada?

Are you attending a masters or PhD program? Do you have a long in person relationship period?
No not masters. That’s why trying to bring him once am on my work permit. Not during the studies. We are married for 5 years
He will need to apply once you have PGWP and have proof of 3 pay stubs. Whether he is granted SOWP always comes down to IRCC and things like proof of relationship, enough savings, etc.
Shouldn’t be as long as you have strong proof that this is a genuine relationship.
