Hi everyone, I got my confirmation of nomination in March for the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program, however, my application was returned due to the incorrect amount of fees that I paid.
I don't want to screw it again, Im wondering if this is what you have to pay:
  • Processing fee: $950
  • Right of permanence fee: $575
  • Biometrics: $85
Is this the proper amount? the "fee questionnaire" is a little bit confusing since it has these 3 options:
  • Im a temporary resident permit holder applying to stay in Canada permanently
  • Im applying as a provincial nomenee on paper instead of through express entry
  • Im applying for a permanent resident document
Also, do you know if I have to wait another 4 months to wait for a response after re-submiting my documents?
Thank you in advance!.

If you don't want to screw up everything again, you'll pay the full amount of fees that is $1500 as per official website. What do you mean by "fee questionnaire" option? For you is the 1st one: temporary resident permit holder applying to stay in Canada permanently, unless you are applying on paper, in this case would be number 2. Hope that helps

But you are not getting permanent resident documents as you are not a Permanent Resident yet. You are APPLYING to permanent residency. The fees as per website is $ 1,525.00 if you are applying only for you, without dependent. Hope that helps

Thank you for the reply (and sorry for the back and forth).
Just to be clear, I already applied last year, (and got approved in December).
After sending my papers, I got the 'Confirmation of nomination' in March.

So, either:
"I’m a temporary resident permit holder applying to stay in Canada permanently"
or
"I’m applying for a permanent resident document" (this is like, 50$)

(because I'm not "I’m applying as a provincial nominee on paper", I am applying through the website), correct me if I am wrong.
If I select this option, the questionnaire asks me about coming to Canada, but I'm already a temporary resident.

Select "I’m applying as a provincial nominee on paper instead of through Express Entry ". It used to be called as paper based application.

Processing fee ($950) and right of permanent residence fee ($575) = $1525.
