I have LMIA so I want to claim the 50 points. I know I need a valid job offer based on that lmia, one of the requirements for this job offer is it has to be valid for at least 1 year after I get my PR. Both me and my boss knew since day one he hired me that I'm going to leave after PR, so he has two concerns, whether the lenghth of the offer is not permanent but for sure has 1 year after PR, or it's just permanent, do I have to actually work for him for another year after PR? Assuming no, is it gonna have any impact on me, does IRCC actually check my employment with him after PR? is it gonna have any trouble for him to use that position to apply for new LMIA for another person if I quit after PR? Thanks

Just curious, your boss is willing to spend CAD$1K on LMIA for a worker whom they know will leave after PR and do the process of applying for LMIA again?

Yep...., he's fully aware these temporary workers will leave with or without getting PR, but we're fast food industry, maybe he's not suprised at the attrition rate at all, if you think about that, one stable staff works 2 years in the food business is not "bad" for him

And how many temp workers does this establishment have under LMIA? How many citizen/PR workers? What is the ratio between temp and domestic workers?

I've heard rumours that temp workers are paying as much as $20K to establishments to apply LMIA for them.
