Hi everyone,

can someone help me, I'm a PSW post grad student here in Canada (Ontario) I have PGWP for 1 year but now I'm out of status here in Canada, What should I do? Please help me is there any pathway to apply for working permit?

How long have you been out of status? Generally a work permit is only possible through an employer in Quebec. Do you speak French?

I assume you mean that your PGWP expired in May and as of August 18th you will hit the 90 days allowed for restoration.

You should apply to restore your status to visitor now. I wouldn't wait any longer.

If you want to try to get a work permit as a PSW, then the job has to be in Quebec. Start looking for jobs there. But the first step is to apply to restore your status. Do that as soon as you can.

I don't understand what you mean by that.

If you are out of status in Canada, you need to apply to restore your status to a visitor record.
