Impact of Contract Employment on PR Application?

Hi everyone,

I am currently in the process of applying for PR and have a question regarding my employment status. At the moment, I am unemployed but have received two job offers: one is a full-time position, and the other is a contract job under incorporation. I am leaning towards accepting the contract job due to better compensation.

My concern is whether taking a contract job under incorporation could affect my PR application. Are there any implications I should be aware of when it comes to PR decisions based on the type of employment I choose?Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.

You do realize that “ extra “ compensation is then paid by you to make up the CPP employer employee contributions, as well as tax deductions that would have been deducted if you were any employee. If you’re making more than $30k in four calendar quarters you’re on the hook to register for hst with the CRA

Yes I am aware of that fact but still I wanted to know if there are any affect on my PR decision if I take contract job
