Congratulations! Your good news really encourages me a lot, especially since my security screening started at the end of June last year, which is very similar to yours!

In my case, due date doesn't mean anything. As shown in CBSA notes, my security; status: not started; status updated date: 2022/07/20; due date: 2023/07/28. Does anyone help me to understand as the pic attached! Thank very much!

Hi Everyone, For my application security is also in progress with CBSA. (AOR - 3rd May, 2023). Everything else is passed just backend check is in progress. In GCMS notes it mentions that security screening is in progress with CBSA and updated date is 2024/05/09 and due date for security is 2024/07/17. Any idea how can I know what is going on or how can I order csis notes ?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi , did you get any update. I called IRCC 2 days ago, lady said something is updated in security. She said it shows now that your security is in progress by cbsa. It happened on same day when I called them on 5th June. Do you think csis finished. How long would be cbsa taking now. It took csis almost 11 months to finish my security and now it’s in process by cbsa. I am so done
Congratulations! It seems it just took a few days for you to get cleared from "in progress by CBSA". I wonder how you know that csis took 11 months to finish? through csis notes? because at this moment I just got my IRCC note and still waiting for csis and cbsa. my ircc notes shows no signs for csis.

It changed to "in progress by CBSA" on April 15, 2024. Regarding the reason for security screening, the note shows that some immigration acts were referred to. That's all.
I got "in progress by CBSA" on Apr 15, 2024, too, but on IRCC notes. And I'm still waiting for cbsa and csis notes.

I ordered it through ATIP service, just select Canadian Security Intelligence Service on the step "Select an institution".

Not really anything that should reasonably concern you. It simply means that certain sections of the CSIS notes you received were redacted so as to not reveal investigative techniques or information gathering methods (supposedly) related to security screening.
