Getting work permit at the border

Hello. Is it possible to get work permit at the border? Me and my husband are on implied status, we have an extension till sept 27. Our work permit is on process and it was delay. So we are thinking to go to the border and get work permit there. What are the chances? Thank you

what type of WP and do you have valid LMIAs if necessary?

Yes my husband have lmia. His supposed to be close work permit and I am open work permit.

Is this a new LMIA? If so yes you can attempt to flagpole.

No medical needed unless medical is required for the actual job. Go to the border with all the documents you attached when applying for the WP.
