I'm currently living in Canada and I have a few questions regarding the visitor visa application for my brother. Here are the details of my situation:

1. Current Employment Status: I have been laid off and I am currently collecting Employment Insurance (EI). Will this affect my ability to sponsor my brother's visitor visa application?
2. Invitation Letters: I am planning to write an invitation letter for my brother's visit. Additionally, his college friend, who is also living with me in Canada, is willing to write a second invitation letter. Will having two invitation letters strengthen his application? Is there a specific way we should structure these letters given my current employment situation?
3. Previous Experiences: Are there any examples or experiences from others who were in a similar situation (being on EI or laid off) and successfully sponsored a family member's visitor visa? Any specific tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
4. Supporting Documents: What additional documents should I include to compensate for my current lack of employment? Would detailed financial statements or proof of assets help in this case?

There's no such thing as sponsoring a visitors visa. Your invitation letter might help to some degree but ultimately your brother will have to show their own funds, ties to their home country and provide a legitimate purpose for visit.

The IRCC knows why they want to visit ,but the bigger part of the application is WHY they have to return to there country

Your invitation is a extremely small part of the application

i know im not sponsoring them , but i consulted with 2-3 immigration consultants who were saying i must have job at the time of inviting them ( instead on of layoff from my current company) . Other It will create problem.
