Hello,
I am a recent PR in Canada. My mom has a valid visitor visa; she applied back when I had a work permit, and my info was provided in her file and I provided the invitation letter.
Now, my brother is also applying to visit me, and I am providing an invitation letter, and they're also requesting my PR copy. In the invitation letter, we state that he will not overstay, etc.
However, my family is actually planning to apply as Refugees once they enter Canada. My question is, will this affect my citizenship application in the future? I am kinda afraid that we provided all my info on their files, I am not sure if this means that I am really responsible. If it will affect it, I would rather not provide assurance that my brother will return, etc
Any insights are appreciated. Thanks!
