Hi Everyone,

I am planning to invite my mother to canada on super visa. Please find details on my situation below:
About me:
1. Both me and my wife have been in canada for a year now.
2. We both are PR with full time jobs and our joint income for last year is over 100000.
3. We would like our mother to come visit us.

About my mother:
1. She is 62 years old widow.
2. No serious medical condition.
3. She stays in India alone in a house which is in my name.
4. She use to visit my sister but my sister also moved to europe.
5. She does travel to the city in India where my sister has an apartment to take care of the place.
6. She travels to her siblings occasionally and do visit her sisters who live near to her home. Not the same city but within 2-3 hours travel radius.
7. She does not have much financial ties in India. She receives very nominal pension and nominal commissions for her work as a insurance agent in the past.
8. She has significant amount of fixed deposits in bank to take care of herself. Source of the funds are savings and much transferred by me from my Indian income.
9. She is religious person and travels domestically in India for her pilgrimage.
10. She feels comfortable at her home and loves to stay there and take care of the place in memory of my father.

I am planning to share her bank statements for proof that she is able to support herself. Anyways, I will be attaching my own canadian bank statements for minimum income and cash available with me. I will be taking care of her financially during her visit.

I am only worried about her ties to home country. Does any of the points about her qualify as a strong tie in your opinion. Does me transferring ownership of my house to her name will help her case?

I have gone through a lot of the posts available here and did not find any supporting argument for my case. I would appreciate any kind of advice.
Thank you for your inputs in advance.

It is really impossible for anyone to predict supervisa approvals and what level of ties are needed for her to visits. She does need a home to return to after her visit so if she is denied I would consider transferring the home in her name or both your names. It appears as though she may have lived with you and your family in India which is not guaranteed in Canada.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
I am in a similar situation too but I already applied super visa for my MIL. My MIL only has an agriculture land in her name. It's been over a month since I submitted the application, done with biometrics waiting for medical request.

Thank you for your reply. You are right, She was living with me in my house in India. Before, I moved here. But I do not get that how it is not guaranteed in Canada. As, I will be sponsoring her and taking care of her expenses when she is here.

It’s not guaranteed because she’s still a foreign national

Visa approval is a privilege. It’s not guaranteed. She has to show she’ll leave

If Canada has concerns that a visitor may attempt to move to Canada and not just visit you can be denied. Impossible to say what will happen.
