Military Service History

Anyone here with military service record? specifically form IMM 5546

I'm applying for my fathers PR. He has military service record from back in the 90s. I have 2 questions:

1) Do we need to fill name of commanding officer as well as Corps commander and regiment commander?
2) Will they request extra documentation for military service? Usually military records are confidential. I doubt my father can get a detailed history letter from the military which mention the different locations or commanding officers...

I have received same request for my father today. How did you go about filling the form ? Did you fill every column? And did you go into every rank’s details ?

1) Yes, you should, but it's not that strict.

2) No extra documents, usually, you just need to fill out the form.
