My husband seized my passport and documents to fly and he ran to Canada without me. I applied for trv , how much time it will take to approve? And what should I do if ircc reject my visa? Can I cancel my husband’s visa as he is dependent on my visa cause I am a student of a canadian university and he went with me last year.

You should contact IRCC and indicate that you have had a relationship breakdown, that your spouse stole your passport and left for Canada on his own. Would include proof that you are no longer in a relationship and living separately. Any police documents and/or text messages about the theft of your passport. Any proof that marriage was related to getting a permit to go to Canada would be even better if that is the case. That said, IRCC may do nothing but it is on record at the very least if he attempts to get further permits based on your studies.

If you don't have your passport with visa, you should apply again.

Regarding your husband's visa you can't really do anything.

Let it go and move on.

Given the the husband has all her documents he could try to use to secure other permits I would notify IRCC that you have been reissued a new passport and that your previous documents have been stolen.

Report the passport and visa stolen. As mentioned above, inform IRCC. You shouldn't need to reapply, just have IRCC reissue the visa when you get a new passport.
