They might re-request it again some time later. But you need to provide all the information you have. Even if you don't have any documental proofs. At least some letter of explanation, you must not ignore it for sure.

Send a web form to IRCC and let them know you need a 30 day extension to obtain the documents they are requesting and explain why (why you need more time to obtain them). Then make sure you meet that timeline.
