Hi all,

I have an urgent question and I really appreciate your help in advance.

I received an ITA for healthcare category based selection on 2024.07.05, However, I started work in a category based NOC on 2024.02.01. I know that EE invitation is based on months and it automatically detected that I have 6 months experience from February to July in the category based NOC.

But in fact at the date of ITA, I just completed 5 months experience and it is not six months. Can I wait until the date that I gain 6 months experience and apply, or I need to decline this invitation? Since I’m not sure if I need to guarantee that on the date of ITA I need 6 month experience on that day.

Thanks for your advice!!

Yes, wait for your 6 months to complete and then submit your PR application against this ITA. DO NOT DECLINE this invitation.

Thank you so much!!
So does it mean that I don’t have to have complete 6 months experience at the date of ITA, but I just need complete experience when I submit the application.

yes, IRCC issues ITA to everyone who matches or is expected to match 6 months exp by the time they submit their application. Make sure to get the right interval of 6 months or more(updated) in your work exp letter as well.
