As for your WP extension, see if you can get an MP letter to expedite after which you can get a TRV

Posted processing time for PR EE Inland is 5 months and am now at 7+ months. WP extension and TRV is within scheduled posted processing time of 145 & 18 days respectively. I have followed through local MP for WP extension but not much development until now. Hoping & praying for the best.

Yes, there is a final decision coming if you have done your medicals. It usually updates the next day but since you didn't get an update today, You should expect an update by tomorrow. Monday latest.

Does longer time spent on reviewing eligibility usually mean a positive sign? If they have to reject it should not take them more time right ? mine took Friday and weekend I was refused the first time and got answer after one day from passing medical exam

There are no any patterns with IRCC. Each application is unique.
