How many people who applied for SUV in backlog now?

I do not have an answer for that. However I submitted my application in Feb 2021 and the IRCC only started to process in Apr 2023, everything passed excluding security. Now I am undergoing comprehensive secuirty screening (since July 2023, so yes 11 months being stuck in security screnning now.). So a total of 40 months now.

Any ideas what could trigger enhanced SS?

Hi I am a SUV applicant and have waited for 43 month since PR application submitted. GCMS notes showed I am SS in progress by CBSA, I am on comprehensive screening type, I don't know what is that mean, but according to my consultant, comprehensive screening is pretty normal. Any buddy here is in the same situation?

5209 Applications means Startups. 1 Startup can have 5 founders. each founder can have a family of 1 or more people. so on average if you take 3.5 founders per startup and each member have 2 family members that means 7 people per startup. If you divide 30,000 by 7 you get 4286 applications. The number you have provided does not include 2023 & 2024.
The IRCC intake targets for SUV of 2000 for 2026 is for number of Applicants for PR not number of SUV applications.
So both of our data can be correct. You are just quoting number of SUV applications while I am quoting applicants.
