Hi, I am looking for some opinions on possibility of being nominated in OINP-FWS or any other program based on my current situation which is as follows:
  1. Education: Graduation in STEM (2yr diploma)
    1. No other education
  2. No Foreign Work Experience
  3. PGWP expiring in September 2025
  4. Total work experience = 14.67 months (aka 14 months 20 days):
    1. Company A: 2 Months 20 days experience in STEM (NOC 1)
      1. Non LMIA job
      2. Job in Ontario region
      3. Got laid off
        1. There was a employment gap till i found next job
    2. Company B: 1 year work experience (completed last week) in STEM (NOC 1)
      1. Non LMIA job
      2. Job in Ontario region
    3. 2 year work experience will be completed on March 29, 2025
      1. This leaves me with 6 months buffer where I will have a valid Work Permit.
  5. Currently preparing for IELTS, so no scores as of yet.

What strategy should I follow here to get nominated for a PR? (currently the most viable option looks like OINP-FWS).
Please advise! :)

You need to calculate your CRS or estimate CRS.

If FWS then nothing to do with Express Entry. Do you have an employer willing to support your nomination and is your NOC and OINP high enough to be selected.

OINP Human Capital Stream through EE is not an option for you.

Read the OINP Foreign Worker Stream requirements. Your employer must support your nomination and it doesn’t mean a LMIA. Many employers don’t so you have to ask them if they are willing to fill out the paperwork. Check your OINP score and see if score and NOC are selected.
