Are my biometrics delaying my SDS visa ?

Hi guys, so this is the timeline of my study visa application
SDS
Applied : May 6
BIL : may 12
Biometrics : may 15
Biometrics and medical updated : 16 may
After 40+ days it's still under process

I have a strong profile, by my biometrics were particularly hard to get, the girl working there tried 4-5 times but couldn't get my biometrics, so I was sent off to clean my hands, and after cleaning my hands, she got it in like the 5th attempt, I've heard from a girl who had the same problem and her application was delayed for 3 months, are my biometrics a problem, or if the status says "UPDATED" I'm good ?

And is it normal for SDS to take this long.

PS : 12th : 76%
IELTS : (7.5) no less than 6.5
1 year diploma
GIC (no bank statements)

hey! the delay can be because of various reasons. I did my biometrics on 12th June and were updated the same day,
After that there has been no update on my gckey portal. still waiting for medical as well (SDS as well)
So we never know whats the reason for the delay is

Oh my medical was upfront and it was updated the same day before as my biometrics
