HI Everyone
My Parent have got passport submission in Bangalore , India. There is VFS appointment form in which I keep getting Application number is invalid.. anyone experienced this and has a solution. Please let me know. I tried using UCI, application number in this field but no luck.

I had same issue to link my application. It was giving me same error. If your wife/husband is also co-sponsor then you have to put "4" during the linking info where it asks number of applicants in the application 2 (mother & father) + 2 ( Your wife/husband and yourself) = 4

October 5, 2021- Submitted the Application via Online Portal
April 25, 2022 - Email received - Citizenship and Immigration Canada - CPCM - Communication to client

August 18, 2022 - PGP 2021 AOR Letter
>This letter confirms that your Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class was received by Immigration
September 7, 2022 - Eligibility Decision Letter
>Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative will be forwarded to Montreal Immigration for further processing
November 17, 2022 - Biometric and Medical w/ NBI request (completed on Nov 29, 2022, in Manila)

IRCC asked for a clearer copy of my father's birth certificate. The deadline for submission of the additional documents needed is Dec 17, 2022 however, I asked IRCC for a 30 days extension. Awaiting a reply from the officer.

Same here, My wife and I passed the medical exam on April 26, 2023,
I received confirmation thru email that all documents and PCC were received on May 25, 2023
Received Invitation to Pre-arrival Service email on May 30, 2023
Now, awaiting PPR
Mississauga/Quebec

My Parents will be going to submit their passports in person today.

Hi All,
My parents-in law received an "Information letter" from IRCC. Is this itself the passport request, or do we wait for another letter? The information letter says the letter itself must be included in passport package. Also it has only the principal applicant name. Is that of a concern?

Mine has also the principal applicant name and same, the letter should be included in the paasport package. My wife and I are now here in Canada. Part of the letter that say to include person that will accompany you is stated in the letter. Read thoroughly the letter It is there.

UPDATE:

My parents received their passports with visa stamps on March 21st, 2024.
I booked their flight to come to Canada on April 17th, 2024.

I applied for my parents' PR in Oct 2021. Last update we received was in April 2022 for the medicals (as previous ones had expired) , after which there is no update at all till date.
The web forms we raised few times got same generic reply "in process".

I am wondering if anyone else is in same situation, and if there is any active forum on this, as this one appears to be old.

YES, I am in the same situation, applied for my parents' application in NOVEMBER 2021, twice gave the medical (both times cleared), several times met the local MP, and made many calls to IRCC but all in vain. A total silence from IRCC. Our application is in the Vancouver office (earlier it was in the Mississauga Office). I don't understand what these Lazy Immigration officers are doing.

Can someone pls help understand what is happening with my mother-in-law's PGP PR application?

Background:

• Dec 2021 application
• IRCC asked for PC in 2022 - submitted them immediately
• Medical test asked to be done again in 2022 as previous one had expired. Did so and submitted
• Somewhere in late 2022, IRCC confirmed medical test has been completed and file was being processed in Mississauga office
• Then there was radio silence for many many months. Following up did not help
• Early this year, the background check status showed in progress. Status also said they need more info
• After 2 months, got a call from IRCC agent asking for my father-in-law's details to be added. My mother-in-law and father-in-law have been separated (without formal divorce for 30 years and we are unaware of where he is). We were asked to fill in form with him as a dependent as formal divorce has not happened. We submitted new form with his name stating that we cannot upload all forms or get his signatures as we do not know where he is
• 2 weeks later, IRCC updated my father-in-law's name as a dependent
• 1 month later in May, got a letter that application is being moved from Mississauga office to Vancouver office - no concrete reason given
• Status then changed and showed Medical is being reviewed, additional document still required, background change still being done etc.
• Last night, the status had an update and only the background check moved to "not applicable"

The current status is as below:

Hello..when you receive email for PR portal 1 PR confirmation for your parents do you reply in one email providing principal applicant and dependent’s information?
My dad and mom got two separate emails(same email address) exact same email so i am not sure should be respond to both emails or just one?..plz reply
