Hi there,
I want to get my parents to Canada for about a month.
My options are either Super Visa or Visitor Visa.
In the case of a Visitor Visa their bank statements aren't very strong so there is a fear of rejection because of that.
In the case of Super Visa I will show my income (60k) and bank statements with a balance of about 9k. I meet the LICO requirements
However because they are coming only for a month will their super visa be rejected? is it better I apply for the Visitor Visa or Super Visa?
Basically their file seems stronger for Super visa however the duration of visit is short so is that a reason for rejection?
Please Advice

While indicating in the application you say that they are going to stay for 1 year with a plan and also purchase health insurance for 1 year(Round trip travel tickets are not needed, so do not worry). Once Visa is approved it doesn't matter for the immigration official to see if they have stayed for 1 year or left in one week.

Hello,

I and a question about SV. In this case if the balances are low in parents account, do I still need to upload Indian bank statements? If yes, does it matter if the balances are low or is there any minimum requirement for showing balance in parents account? I have a sufficient savings and good salary my t4s are strong too. Is medical exam compulsory for parents? Please update on this.

Thank you for your response,

In that case is there any minimum balance required to show in their account? Do I need to show 3mos bank statement or 1month with certificate is fine?
