Hello, we have withdrawn our application but haven’t got any response. How long does it take for them to respond. Cos we have to re-apply. we are running out of time ??You can withdraw spouse‘s first application. And then reapply together.
Reapply, as you may not get a response for a while.Hello, we have withdrawn our application but haven’t got any response. How long does it take for them to respond. Cos we have to re-apply. we are running out of time ??
Thank you, won’t it affect our application ??Reapply, as you may not get a response for a while.
I meant Can we reapply if we still didn’t receive the withdrawal approval letter?Thank you, won’t it affect our application ??
and I thank you so much for your support at this time
You say this is time critical so reapply. It will take weeks to get letter or you may not get letter at all.I meant Can we reapply if we still didn’t receive the withdrawal approval letter?
No. It is a new application so you don’t jump the queue. As per your suggestion we have reapplied last week. Our application is still in submitted status. Last time it took nearly a month for response. This time can we expect a shorter response time?? As our time is ticking.. my course starts by July 1st
We are being punished for no mistake of ours…despite submitting the concerned document
Thanks in advance
So how is your NOC and job offer LMIA exempt? Are you teaching a course starting July 1? Thought in past posts NOC was for post doc work. Your application doesn’t jump the queue.Hi guys, I applied for my work permit in April 10 and it was refused on May 6 due to a technical issue, after clarifying it I reapplied on May 25 but after few ghost updates my biometrics got updated. After that it is showing my background verification in progress.
my application is LMIA exempt, TEER 1 category, NOC 31100 in IRCC site it has been mentioned that the processing time is only 2 weeks.
Do they actually give priority for LMIA exempt by any chance??
They are not accessible by any means as I’m applying from outside ??
I have paid my university registration fee, my council registration fee and visa application fee (twice).
I’m clueless how long should I wait as my course is commencing July 1st.
I’m going through mental agony everyday as I have resigned my current job.
I would be happy if anyone could guess what is exactly going on with my application and throw some light
Im applying for a closed work permit which comes under the category of essential services (health care workers)So how is your NOC and job offer LMIA exempt? Are you teaching a course starting July 1? Thought in past posts NOC was for post doc work. Your application doesn’t jump the queue.
So are you coming under C44 or C45 LMIA exemption as medical research fellow since you are a doctor? Or post doc fellow? And you are teaching as of July 1? Not sure this would be expedited processing as an essential service which was in place during covid. All you can do is wait. You aren’t going to get it by July 1 because you still need to include passport stamping.Im applying for a closed work permit which comes under the category of essential services (health care workers)
IRCC - Specialists in clinical and laboratory medicine (NOC 31100).
My course is starting on July 1st. It involves learning, teaching and research as well.

If eligibility has started or been completed then you should have a response soon. You can call outside of Canada using VPN but talking to a phone agent, not officer.
Processing times depend on country applying from too.

Thank you very much for your guidance. I’m not sure about if they have started eligibility check, but for more than 2 weeks it shows background verification in progress…So are you coming under C44 or C45 LMIA exemption as medical research fellow since you are a doctor?
