Hello, I (the principal applicant) got passports including PR visas and COPRs back for myself and all family members: spouse, and two children early this month.

Just curious what would be the consequences in case some family members failed landing before expiry date or even they give up to entering Canada? Is there any impact to those family members who have already entered before expiry date?

Appreciate if anyone know this situation.

You, as the PA, should land in Canada together with or before your dependents within the validity of your immigrant visa to become a PR.

You will not become a PR if any of you chose not to land in Canada before immigrant visa expires, and will need to apply for PR or TRV afterwards if wishing to enter Canada permanently or temporarily.

You, the PA, need to land before any of your dependents can land as PR. If you don't land, none of them can land as PR.
after your landing, your dependent cases will be treated independently and won't affects one another.

Yes the last paragraph captured it all. As the principal applicant, u must land activate the PR. your dependents may come later. But if they stay beyond the visa validity period, they have to seek further direction from IRCC b4 entering Canada.
