For those who do not have photo in their marriage certificate, how did you provide this document?

I am a Canadian PR and my wife lives in India. We got married in Kolkata(where her house is) and registered our marriage in Tamil Nadu(where my house is).
I am applying for her sponsorship and the marriage certificate that I received do not have our photos on it. I am told that this is quite common in the “Hindu Act” certificate. However, my agent is saying this will not be valid because of no photo. Has anyone gone through with the same issue? Can I get some advice on how to proceed?

That is strange. I've never heard of a marriage certificate having a photo. Mine doesn't either. Is that something with Indian marraige certificates?

Hi,
Yes, my certificate is from India. It is weird because i spoke to different people and some have photos and some don’t. So i imagine the IRCC is aware that not all certificates will have photos. Not sure why I’m told that without photo will be a risk of rejection.
