what is the possible outcome once medical is passed? how many months of waiting? what is the next step?
Sometimes it's medical passed but at the end with PPR or eCOPR you get medical surveillance. If otherwise passed that onto next step but it won't be long till final decision.

Hi Everyone, I was asked to undergo a sputum test and X-ray for my PR application. I have gave the sputum test but they are saying the results will take 2 to 3 months. Is it normal for the results to take this long? Can I try another medical center that is approved by IRCC?
For the X-ray, I am currently 5 months pregnant and do not want to undergo an X-ray during pregnancy. We have asked the panel physician to provide a form explaining why I am not going for the X-ray.

I have a few questions and would appreciate any advice from those who have been in a similar situation:

1. What will happen if the sputum test is positive? If negative I will submit the results to IRCC once I receive them in 2 to 3 months.
2. Regarding the X-ray, I will submit the letter provided by the panel physician and will definitely undergo the X-ray after the pregnancy.
3. I know IRCC may hold my PR if they do not agree to postpone the X-ray, or they may request me to submit the medical results after the pregnancy.
4. Can they process my husband's PR application alone if he don't have any issues with medicals? Will they put the entire application on hold or cancel it?

Yes that's normal, also xray is repeated after 3 months from first xray. If you are pregnant you have to wait till delivery as xray is important part of medical you have to wait till it's done.
1. If it's positive you have to undergo treatment.
2. Xray is important so have to wait till it can be done.
3. You have to let your doc know about your pregnancy.
4. If you have applied together, doesn't matter he is main applicant or you the file will be on hold till every applicant's all stages are met.

Nothing. Just send your address to the email you have received the surveillance from and keep your phone handy as the province will call you as per their wait time.

Didn't you asked the officer about it, they definitely would have explained it.
Read between lines there would be an email to send your address and then IRCC will turn it to provincial doc.
