It's risky because if you run into any sort of tech issue and miss the deadline, then you'll be out of luck. Make sure you know the time of the cut off and factor in your time zone.

Also historically I have seen the applicants who submit in the first month itself usually have a faster turnaround time on average.

Yes, its risky if you cannot make it before the deadline. But what if I can submit it successfully right 1 day before the deadline. Does that affect my application ?
