Hello!

I applied for my Parents PCC from BLS Canada almost 8 weeks ago. I still have not received the document. The status on both BLS and Passport Seva Tracking Portal has been ‘Processing at Indian Consulate’.

My Parents are in Canada on Super Visa.

I have already sent a Letter of Explanation twice to CIC informing them of the delay.

Has anyone else faced similar issues or delay ? If anyone has applied for PCC for their Parents via BLS Canada could you share your timeline between submission and receipt ?

lol I just love when people get on here whining and crying over the simply facts of waiting … how about u call the office and ask them how much longer you have to wait you sound so impatient and entitled .. you’ll get it when u get It there’s no timeline and even if there is you’ll get it when they get to it, inform IRCC of the delay that’s all you can do.

@Amiah_world - how about you get down from your high horse ? If asking a question is 'whining and crying' then maybe this entire web portal needs to shut down. But I see your previous posts - you are mostly about 'lols' and 'lmaos' and have got not a lot to contribute to anything - so that makes sense. It is perfectly okay for anyone to come to this portal and seek other people's timelines to compare their circumstances. If anyone here is entitled - its you - and you are a nobody based on what you've got to say.

Hi there,
I am not sure about parents application but I have applied mine like in month of March, 2024, this is what you can do to expedite the process from Indian consulate in Toronto, they have walk in service on every Wednesday where people can go with their problem and you can meet the passport and pcc officer face to face and you can tell them your issue and they will help you to expedite your application. You will need to take your payment receipt with you and if you have letter from Immigration that has mentioned that you need to submit PCC in certain period of time then you can show that to them as well. I have got my PCC in 3 weeks. Also, the huge role here will play by Indian Police station which you have selected for your verification. Consulate usually clear the application within 1 week but if the Police station which you selected in India that can take lots of time. Walk in time is 3pm every Wednesday and the address is 365 Bloor street east. Toronto. I hope this helps you.

@Sweety06 Thank you your information helps a lot! Just to clarify - We are able to go for the purposes of PCC to the local consulate ? So in this case does the local consulate not refer to the Police Station in India ?

We are having the same issue. We are trying to get the police in India expedite this but since your status is still showing “processing with consulate”, you should follow above users advise.

Yes, you can go to consulate for any emergency you have related to PCC, Passport or OCI etc but only on Wednesday. They called open house for all those who are having any emergency or trouble.
Yes, they will ask you to contact to your local police station to clear your PCC from their police station and send back to consulate but first you need to make sure that consulate has cleared your application from here first and send it to India for verification and that you can find out if you go for open house on Wednesday. The officer told me that they usually cleared the application from here within week but you never know if they are telling true or not. In my case, they have cleared my application from here when I went to consulate and told them that I have an emergency and yes it was more then 1 week that they didn’t clear so I believe you better go and check and confirm.

@kiqr and @Sweety06 - This is what the Consular Website states: “Since tracking application mechanism is available to track status of your application online and that the issuance process takes about 8 weeks, applicants are requested to exercise restraint for making status enquires as Consulate is inundated with such queries. However, if you still have query, please raise a query on Sampark module.”

Is it acceptable for me to walk in or should i raise a query via Sampark? Any experience with this ?

Let me be honest with you, that Sampark thing, you can email but you will not going to get any reply. Friend of mine had issue with passport renewal and waited for 6-7 weeks, did not get email back from Sampark and he went to consulate where he found out about this Wednesday services. And he told me as well.
