Proof of Funds - CEC

Hi,
I have read from the IRCC website that proof of funds is not mandatory if you are invited to apply under CEC. I received my ITA this week; however, I am staying in Canada on my visitor record. So, do I need to show funds?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You do not have to meet the funds requirement if you were invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class.
