what are the chances of getting canada visa after uk visa cancelled?

hi there,
recently i was denied entry and my visa was cancelled by ukba for not declaring ciggrettes at customs,
i have six passports full of visas and travelled to uk usa schengen states ireland , eu member states
several asian and middleeastern countries without any trouble, even all visas i got easily at back home pakistan.
i was planning to go to canada for this summer to visit Vancouver to Calgary with all those scenic beauties.
i am well settled here own properties, stable business and making good money around 50k usd everyyear.
should i apply for canadian via this summer as usual and explain what happened if i denied entry to any country,
or just wait some time probably a year or so.as far as i know i could get canadian tourist visa without any trouble
if my last uk multiple visa hadn't been cancelled.
any expert advice my concern is what are the consequences i would bear after that cancelled visa,
also ukba officer told my that i can reapply anytime in future for a fresh application which i know would be rejected immediately

Waiting is irrelevant in this matter, you need to explain it anyways.

Each visa application for any country is assessed for its own merits.

You must declare that you were refused leave to enter the UK + your UK visa was cancelled when you apply for a Canada TRV ie in the Background Information section of the TRV form..... Not declaring this or giving partial information can be construed as misrepresentation which can result in a 5 years ban from entering Canada.

Also, whenever you apply for a Canada TRV, another UK General Visit visa or visas to any other country.... at any time in the future.... you will have to continue declaring that you were refused leave to enter the UK, and explain it.

As far as I know, the allowed limit for cigarettes into the UK is quite high.... so as you crossed this limit, it possibly created an impression to the UKBA that you were taking the cigarettes for illegal sale.

You may want to reapply first for a UK General Visit Visa..... before you apply for a Canada TRV.

The current Canada TRV processing time is 46 days for Pakistan applications. Hence, you can apply for a UK visa under Priority Processing first.... by paying £160 extra.... i.e. if you have visited the US/Schengen/Australia/NZ in the last 5 years without any difficulties.

Your UK visa processing will take longer than the regular priority processing time.

After you are issued a new UK visa, do mention that you were refused leave to enter the UK but subsequently you were issued a new UK visa.... this could improve your Canada TRV chances

There is a good chance you may be denied entry to Canada even if you are able to fly into a Canadian city given that you didn’t follow the conditions of your study permit in the UK and you have likely not been living in your home country for some time so you have minimal ties to prove that you are a true visitor and will return home. If your goal is to live in Canada apply for PR.
