Hello, I received the invitation email for my parents.

We have couple of changes to our family.

Family size202320222021
2 people$44,530$43,082$32,898
3 people$54,743$52,965$40,444
4 people$66,466$64,306$49,106
5 people$75,384$72,935$55,694
6 people$85,020$82,259$62,814

We had our first baby in March 2022 and 2nd baby in Dec 2023. if we applying for our one parent

Family:
2021 - 3
2022 - 4
2023 - 4 or 5? because our 2nd baby born in Dec 2023

Can we include both Business NOA and Personal NOA for income proof? why I am asking our personal income will not meet for 5 people in 2023 (in case if we need to include 2nd baby). if we can include business NOA then we are good

Please help on this.

Also do we need Police clearance certificate from India for our parent?

Thanks a lot
Only personal NOA. IRCC will not consider your business NOA.

The second child needs to be included for 2023.

Make sure you include both of your parents in the count for calculating LICO even if only one parent is coming to Canada.

Anyone knows where to find our original expression of interest submitted in 2020? I want to check and confirm the info is consistent. Do we get a copy of the EOI in 2020? I only find a confirmation number in the email.
that's all I have too. and there is no way to check the original form you submitted unless you saved it on your side!

Do you want them to come here with a PR, then you have to pay the PR fee.

Some people choose to pay the fee later on the process. But that will involve IRCC to request for payment and then pay and then confirm. So extra steps and may introduce some delay.
Most people pay fee upfront.

I suspect if not paying this fee upfront actually speeds up the process eventually. If you pay the fee upfront they have our money so no incentive to prioritize. Whereas if they still have to take more money then they will speed up to the stage where they can ask for money.
This can very well mean not moving the application from one office to another and not being able to keep senior elderly people (read family members of Canadian citizens and PRs ) out of the country (or at least not taking up their burden e.g. healthcare) for as long as possible.

Not paying the fee up front slows down the process since an extra step is added where IRCC pauses processing to request the additional payment. They don't prioritize as you've suggested.

Question about co-signer
Hi All

I got the invite yesterday and I have a question about the co-signer.
when I filled the interest to sponsor form in 2020, i added my wife as a co-signer. but she not working any more now from the last one year.
My income alone is sufficient enough to meet the income requirements for 2023, 2022, 2021. So when i submit the application is it ok, if i can just be a single sponsor without my wife since in any case her income last year was nil so it wont make any difference. Please suggest,

regards
K

Hi,
I meet income by myself for us family of 4 ( me wife and parents). Is it still better to add wife as co-signer ( she is ready to co-sign) and show her income as well does more income make you stronger applicant or it could slower the case as more docs to be provided so more review. Any suggestion
