July 28th ??Hey I am in situation how long it took them to send it ?
Keep sending them the email with your details everydayHi everyone,
I'm kind of desperate right now, it's been more than 50 days since my application was approved (July 2th), and according to my GCMS it's also been transferred to my local
I've noticed that it's not quite common for applicants to wait that long just for the first portal email. Generally, the longest wait after the approval seems to be for the credentials email, and the next steps...
1. My local MP has asked for a status update from IRCC, and of course, their answer is completely useless, they just repeated what I already knew, without addressing my concern.
2. I've sent an email to IRCC.ClientPortal-PortailClient.IRCC@cic.gc.ca asking if there was a technical issue, still waiting for an answer.
3. I've raised a web form today, asking for clarification, and I don't expect an answer before next week.
4. The cic.gc.ca domain is whitelisted in my email client, and I have received every communication so far, so there is no possibility that it went to the spam folder.
Is there anything that I can do? It really seems odd, like if my application was lost/forgotten somewhere. Would hiring a lawyer help?
Has anyone here had to wait for a longer than normal time to get the first portal email after approval?
I just don't know how much I should wait before trying to do something other than contacting them and getting their bs answers every time.
Send KAI details upfront and also call IRCCAOr 26 August
Waiting for portal 1 for long time then contact to MP he said your PR is approved on 9 Feb and portal mail sent to u on 12 Feb and copr expire on July
But still I'm didn't get any mail
What should I do ! NEED HELP

PORTAL EMAIL RECEIVED!
Here is the interesting bit. Last week after contacting my MP and submitting dozens of webforms, calling IRCC like 4 times I finally had enough and sent an email to the Portal team IRCC.ClientPortal-PortailClient.IRCC@cic.gc.ca - In that email I explained that my application was approved over 50 days ago and I had not received any correspondence from IRCC about the Portal. I then provided the same exact information they usually ask for in the 1st portal email (names, DOB, UCI, Option A to manage the account for both myself and spouse etc). I didn't have much hope and thought for sure they would ignore it. But they didn't.
When I received the portal email today I received the 2nd email (the credentials one) straight away and they had already set up the account for myself and my spouse based on the information I provided in my email to them. So I went straight to confirming my address and uploaded photos and that's it. Now waiting for COPR and PR Card
I highly recommend emailing them. Here is what I sent to them:
