What marriage registration date to use in OCI application ??

Guys, I am sure some of you would have deliberated on this question too...Need some inputs on what you ended up doing :-

My marriage was solemnized on 17-APR but was registered under hindu marriage act on 24-APR. My marriage certificate mentions both dates. Can you guide which date to use ?

But doesn't that conflict with all the information you've provided in the past..like any application that requires marriage date

Even if it does, nobody cares about it. Its just to satisfy the ego of the BLS agent who otherwise would charge extra money from you to change the date.
Registration Date has been the most safest option in this forum.
