working holiday visa extension from Italy

Hello all,

My GF is currently on working holiday visa, expiring on July 1st of this year, it was a 12month permit.
She wants to renew the visa but we are clueless on what the procedures are.

Can anyone guide us through how to extend working holiday visa?

All of the information is on the IRCC web site.

It cannot be extended. She can apply for a second one assuming she still meets the criteria. She will need to follow the same process she did the first time.

But is my gf considered as resident in Canada or in Italy?? She is trying to get another iec working holiday visa in Canada.

If she is in Canada, then a resident of Canada.

Thank you. So this is confusing since ircc website says you need residential certification of Italy, when she’s already living and working in Canada for a year.

To the best of my knowledge she would need to move back to Italy before she can apply.
