Hey guys, I have a question about what counts as "continuous employment" in the context of student work experience. I'm currently a college student outside Canada and I'm working part-time as a research assistant. Because of the nature of this position, I cannot work during winter breaks and sometimes during the summer. Does this still count as "continuous employment" since I'm working continuously during each semester, or do I have to work continuously for at least a year for it to be considered continuous?

Continious employment is no breaks so for FSW you need one year of continuous, full time work experience in one NOC. A break between jobs is a weekend or week, so you don’t have that.

It does not count. Yes, you have to actually work continuously for at least one full year full time or part time equivalent. There can be no breaks.
