The information that's on the spreadsheet is wrong, I got my test invite April 29, the window period was May 1st to may 31, I did my test 3rd of May , test complete May 7th and update on May 9th

hmm, the link states that "We usually send the invitation within 1 week of your acknowledgement of receipt (AOR) letter or email."

I've never received any email to take the test after receiving AOR (March 20). If I get an invitation, will I be able to see it on the tracker webpage too (to make sure that I haven't been invited to take the test).

That's a ballpark number wont work for all. Yes the tracker gets updated first followed by you getting email about test.

When they invite you to take the test, does anyone know how long after the invitation the test will be scheduled? I want to know if I should start studying now when I haven't been invited, or if I should wait until I get the invitation and then start studying. Thanks.

As a general rule, you should be studying now (or at least keeping the info fresh in your mind) as you know you'll get an invite to take a test (unless exempt).
But you'll have plenty of time from when you get invited to take the test to do some studying.

. They will give you a window period to take the test. It's a month and you have to take it any day within that window period.

Does ghost update signals anything special? Or it's just an agent opened the application (or something like that)?

I've seen a few comments about applicants being thrilled about receiving a ghost update, so I'm wondering what's the importance of it.

yes and no. also case by case scenario. some get ghost updates with nothing updated for weeks or months so i think that would be an agent did something to the application but not significant to be updated on tracker. and others get an update on average 2 days after the ghost update which is something being completed or ircc requesting the applicant to do or submit something additional.
