Closed Work Permit (LMIA) Processing Time

Hi,

I applied for a closed work permit from India, after my employer received a positive LMIA in 2023.

Timelines as follows:
Work Permit Application Submitted on Dec 8th 2023
Biometric Request on Dec 10th 2023
Biometric Submitted on Dec 15th 2023
Upfront Medicals Submission
Medical cleared on March 5th
No update after that

Processing time of 21 Weeks (India) completed on 3rd May 2024

Consultant raised a webform few days ago.

Can anyone tell me a time frame I could expect a response in?
Also does raising a webform regarding my application increase processing time?

No one can tell you when you will get a response. Processing times state it is when ”most” are processed by so it can take a lot longer. Have you passed eligibility and background?
