Has anyone been in this type of situation where your passport is requested for stamping by ircc and kept hanging for months? Mine has been with ircc Lagos since July 2023 and my dependents passport stamped and released.

ADR ( $230 compliance fee, thou it was initially paid and submitted in 2021). July 20 2023
Dependant WP and Visitor visa. July 21 2023 and July 23 2023
ADR reflected on porter on August 14.
Sent 2 webforms through my Rep in September and November no response
Wife left for Canada December 5th , and was given 8months work visa as it the validity of her one year OWP as dependent.
February , wife contacted an MP in surrey and was told my medical and criminality passed, that we wait 30days that we should expect a request from our Vo
ADR ( letter of employment was requested in March)
IRCC Lagos called me 2days after we uploaded via webform to upload directly and not via webform but the upload option was not available, after back and front, Ircc mail my representative to send the employment letter via response to the mail and upload option was available days after.
April 16 2024 I decided to go take upfront medicals as my medical expires March 28 and that of my son who is yet to land and has visa already whose medical validity on POE intro letter states March 28 thou visitor visa still valids this august 7.
April 22 2024. Ircc request for medical for me and it was e-medical form from Qlife was uploaded,
25th of April 2024 ,wify asked for update from MP as my status only indicates that additional documents uploaded March 26 2024.
MP response state’s eligibility, criminality, medical passed and a request for client employment letter on 13th of March and was received on 26th of March and medical on 22nd of April 2024
May 20 2024 when my status didn’t change I asked my representative to send a second webform to upload the emedical again.
I emailed ircc Lagos 25th, my representative also planing on sending a mail to the consulate if nothing is heard this week.
Wify is having anxiety already as she can not start her work permit renewal as I the primary applicant is still stock with ircc .

I am currently working for a big enterprise in the Human Resources department but I am planning on completing a Masters degree in Organizational Psychology. I got my Cambridge Certificate in English for C2 level, so English is not a problem. I would love to work in Canada and I am wondering if I have possibilities there. Any advice for me? Would I be able to develop my professional career in Canada?

If you want to work in Canada, you need to get a job offer and then employer files for LMIA proving no Canadian or PR has the skills/education to do the job, only you. With LMIA you apply for a closed work permit. Most employers will not go through the process. Get ECA for education and take IELTS for English.
Hello everyone, it's my first time here. We are Nigerians living in South Africa for the past 12 years, and its been crazy trying to get a PR here. My family and I started our express entry PR application for Canada, April 2023 via an agent who has an outstanding record. By June 2023, we had submitted everything neccessary, then we did the medicals July 2023, then the Biometrics we finished August, 2023. Now we are in May, 2024 and our latest status update is still on Biometrics completed. What more can we do, and how do we find out what is causing this delay?
