Hi Everyone,
I need your opinion. My mother lives in Pakistan, and I applied super visa for my mother in first week of January 2024 through IRCC new portal. It's more than 4 months but I have not heard anything back yet. Online status still shows we are processing your application since the day one. I would really appreciate if you can share timeline for your parent's visa process. Thanks

Processing is 287 days so well within processing times.

These 287 days processing time was updated few days ago. When I applied for her visa, it was 145 days

Not sure what they are doing because the processing times are back to 147 days again, is there any update on your end though?
yes i applied for my parents and brother in early Mar 2024, Approved within 10 days.

Hi everyone!
I applied for my mother’s visitor visa last year but it was refused because of weak ties to home country.
I am planning on applying for super visa this time. She’s a widow lives alone and doesn’t own the house. I have my dad’s pension that she receives, her free medical, and a property as ties to home country. Although pension converted into CAD is not a whole lot. Do you guys think her case is still weak? And for her property documents a photocopy of ownership, and english translation is required right? Or is a property valuation document attested by foreign affairs a requirement instead?
I also made the mistake in her purpose of visit. I told them I was pregnant and that she’s coming to take care of me which backfired. So now, I am planning on inviting her on my baby’s first birthday and to spend time with us is this reason okay? Please help!

Applied March 19th from Pakistan for parents. Biometrics few days after. No other updates
I contacted IRCC through webform May 16th asking for an update mentioning the travel date (June 2nd stated on the application) was coming up. And got the request right after. I doubt it is a coincidence
Still the background is in process on the tracker. Eligibility is complete.
On the portal the updates are inconsistent as well but does say approved
