My certificates, passport and all the documents were in English, i have submitted just scanned color copies.

In your application did you provide certified true copies or just photocopies of passport and identification? Did you have to translate biographical page of passport if not in English or French?

For Fingerprints:
From the day you submit it to update on the tracker as Fingerprint Received should be about 3-4 weeks
This is counted from the day you submitted the fingerprint not from the request day
Fingerprints are sent electronically to RCMP from the agency on the same time you do the fingerprints in Agency or Police Station or RCMP
RCMP takes from 1-2 weeks to process the Fingerprint request and MAIL the results to IRCC
IRCC to receive and update the tracker to FingerPrints Received takes about 1-2 weeks including the mailing time.

That's why it takes about 3-4 Weeks

Normally Background is marked as completed after receiving the fingerprint is received by 1-2 days
But this is not always the case as if you are required to pass extra security all this process can delay even they can receive the Fingerprint but not mark the Background as completed

That's why it is recommended to Call RCMP after 10 days from submission to know if the result is done & when will be sent to IRCC

I saw many people their Background check completed even before the test and may they don’t need the fingerprint.

I received the fingerprint last week and I am going to do it this week.

I need help for these questions: Thank you all

• How many days from the fingerprint done to be send to RCMP and how long it takes from RCMP to IRCC?
• How long the background can be finished after they received my fingerprint results from RCMP?
• When we came to Canada few years a go, I didn’t have any fingerprint history here as when I came here, I used ETA because my country having visa free to Canada. So, I don’t have any fingerprint records.

where is the link of that website? I really thought that the processing time is 14 months. and that is also the reason if you follow up IRCC, their reply would be "your application is ok" haha
