Hi

Need guidance on the correct NOC code for Presales Consultant/Proposal Manager in the IT industry.

I have been in Pre-Sales now and would want to select a NOC code which will be the best fit for my profile.
I am a purely functional person with very limited technical knowledge. My profile mostly involves responding to RFPs and RFIs.

I have a similar profile and so wanted to check. Currently used 2171.

2171 can be used by presales employees.

I am also a Presales Executive and using the code 21221 (earlier 2171). Will this work? I am afraid they will read my reference letter and think that this is not really the profile of a Businesss Analyst. I've already got the NOI from OINP and submitting my application soon. :/

No, I am in Presales in the IT industry - mostly driving proposals, bid management. I got these duties mentioned in my reference letter:

1.Derived business and technical requirements from documentation shared by clients (RFPs/RFIs, SOW etc.) for multiple Digital Transformation Projects in the Insurance, Manufacturing, Life Sciences and other verticals and helped translate them into technical solutions.

2. Acted as a liaison between the sales team and the technical experts to facilitate formulation of the RFP response.

3. Responsible for proposing technical solutions and driving sizing estimations, project implementation plans in collaboration with solutioning and business teams for 10+ projects in the UI/UX, Cloud, Data Science space and other technology areas.

4. Drove RFI/RFP response development and created bid plans for 20+ prospective clients and aligned cross-functional teams to project deliverables and timelines.

5. Tracked and monitored opportunity pipeline for the business unit and prepared weekly and monthly reports for consumption of senior leadership to develop strategic interventions.

6. Developed collaterals like case studies and capability presentations enabling front-end sales team to deliver strong pitch to prospective clients.

Since you both mentioned 2171 worked for you, I was wondering if me using 21221 will work.?
