It's not clear what you are asking. Are you asking if you can start working for that employer while outside of Canada? If so, then yes, you can do this provided the employer is in agreement. No, this won't count towards CEC.

Hi, can someone answer if my job situation can be qualified under The Skilled Worker stream?

Here are the work requirements from the province's website -
  1. You have worked 12 complete calendar months within the last 5 years and a minimum of 1,560 hours. This work must be related to the job you are being offered AND it must be paid work. It cannot include volunteer work or unpaid internships.
  2. If your job offer falls under NOC TEER category 4 or 5, you have 6 months’ paid work experience with the Nova Scotia employer who is offering you the job.
My situation -
I have previously worked for 12 months as a Banquet Server - NOC 65200 in Vancouver, BC.
My current job with my employer - a Hotel in Nova Scotia is Sales & Catering Coordinator - NOC 12103.

Thanks.

Good day everyone

I have a question regarding NS PNP skill worker stream. I applied in early August and received an email saying I passed competeleness check on Aug 21th.

The email also said my application is placed in a pool and that NS will drawn and process. And it may not be drawn and processed even if it meets eligibility of the stream.

Does anyone receive the same email? And does it mean applying to this stream is not 100% sure we can be processed and get Nomination even if we meet the stream requirements?

Does anyone have experience with Nova PNP this stream? I hope to hear from you all. I am very worried right now. Should I look for other stream and other provinces?
Hope all have a great holiday today.

Thank you

Bienhoa
