Extend Work Permit ONLINE as Refugee/Protected Person

Hello everyone - looking for guidance on extending work permit ONLINE

I am a refugee/protected person and I am currently on a work permit that will expire in a few months. I have an online account with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and I would like to submit the application to renew my work permit online. However, I don't see an option to upload my completed documents - does anyone know how to do this? I am wondering if the system will not give me the option to apply online because I haven't yet provided biometrics?

It is a bit tricky and took me a month to find an answer. So, when you answer the quiz questions, pick less than 6 months and then keep going with the rest of the quiz questions. You will sign in to your account and you will find the online link there. Upload the completed form and the rest supported docs.

As far as I remember, once you log in into your account in CIC website in a PC or laptop , they have three clickable options in the lower page , pick the left one and it should take you step by step answering some questions

In the GCKey account click How you want to come to Canada. On the next page, click for work, Less than 6 months, and then you'll find Refugee after that follow the steps. There are a lot of questions about being eligible for the work permit. Answer all the questions (All are yes/No). Finally, you need to upload your previous work permit copy, passport copy, and form imm5710e. It's downloadable and fillable. Complete and upload the form. Then submit.

One more thing, After you get your work permit, remember to renew your SIN.

While filling application they asked You have been done medical exam in the last 12 months. I done my medical 2 years back and now in my PR application status it’s showing medical pass so question i can click yes or no

I applied for extension of my work permit, today I received letter mentioned to attached this letter with your work permit and continue your work tell September until decision. My question is how I can I renew my SIN without work permit did anyone receive such letter

I received such a letter. It's a temporary extension. You can not renew your SIN without the new WP original paper. Your present SIN is valid till September. (I went to Service Canada with the temp one and they said so) I believe, before September you'll receive your new WP.

Service Canada told me that the SIN is valid until you receive a new WP.
