How long will the security check take for a study permit？

Hi everyone, it seems that since last year, IRCC has conducted a large scale of security check aiming to overseas applicants. However, admissions/medical report/CAQ will expire after a year. So I wonder what's the average proccessing time for the security screening ？How many people waiting for thier study permits over a year? Thanks!

My security check has been in progress for almost 7 months.

I applied in April 18 2023. The eligibility passed in September 07. Since then my security check has been in progress.

I applied from Afghanistan.

I'm from India but I live in Qatar. Here's the progress from my GCMS notes as of February 29 2024:

Eligibility - Passed
Security - IN PROGRESS
Criminality - Passed - Bio
Medical - Passed
Info Sharing - Complete
Final Decision - blank

Hahah I think we have contacted before in a Whatsapp group. My visa office is also Abu Dhabi. However I got an update on my tracker but there was nothing on Friday March 22 2024.

Hi guys, I finally got PPR on May 10.

Now I am going to send my original passport to Abu Dhabi embassy through vfs in Islamabad. How long do you think Visa Stamping is going to take ??
