I applied in November 22, 2023 and biometric completed on December 22, 2023 from Pakistan and also completed upfront medical. However, since January 29, 2023 background check is in progress and no further updates. I requested through web form multipe times but no response. if possible, can someone relate this details and provide some feedback?

I am in the same boat. Applied on 5 Oct, 14 Nov bio, 21 Nov update, 14 Jan upload new loa through web form, 25 Jan received bvl and no updates after that raised 2 webforms and last week also applied for notes. On gc key eligibility and background in process but on tracker only background check in process. Applied under sds stream but my classmates from Nepal already got ppr under non sds

Tracker shows my application is in background check and gc key shows eligibility and background check in process. Raised one webform after a month of bvl on 13th march but no Update uptill yet.
Tracker shows my Visa document number and Permit details and expiry date.

Sad to see there’s so little updates and visibility into the length of the process! Have you tried checking with others about their study permit application timelines? Same situation here. Applied in October 13 , 2023 , Biometrics completed October 17, 2023 and medicals completed November 5 , 2023. Tracker shows Eligibility , Biometrics and Medicals completed but background verification still in progress.
Does your tracker timeline mention 'ACTIVITY STATUS UPDATED - BACKGROUND VERIFICATION" as well?
